Hi, I’m Sue (she/her/hers)— and many of the people that I work with describe feeling uncomfortable in their bodies and they’re certain that the problems they keep seeing in their life is because of them.

I know how overwhelming it can feel to constantly be thinking about what you’re eating, how you look, or that you’re not good enough. These patterns are often less about food, and more about how we relate to ourselves.

I will help you understand what’s going on beneath the surface, and to support you in building new, more helpful ways of thinking. I work collaboratively with clients; I’m not here to tell you what to do… I help you find the answers that are already within you, under all the bullshit of expectation that usually comes from others.

Therapy with me won’t be about pushing or fixing—it’s about understanding, exploring, and creating lasting change.

You’re tired of beating yourself up over a lack of willpower, feeling guilt or shame around food, and constantly striving for perfection in order to feel good enough.

Clients often say they feel genuinely heard and understood in sessions, and that they leave with practical tools to use in daily life—not just insight, but real progress.

My Approach to Therapy

You can be yourself with me; no need to filter what you’re saying, or minimise how you’re feeling. Actually, I want you to be your whole self in the room with me, and feel comfortable doing that. This doesn’t happen right away, and there’s no pressure to talk about anything before you feel ready.

My job is to help you move through uncomfortable things - change and growth are uncomfortable and can be really hard. We’ll move at your pace, not mine. The time and space is yours do explore what you need to, with my support. You get to decide what we focus on, and where we’re trying to get to.

I want you to leave each session with me feeling like you’ve been heard. Some weeks, we might be focusing on the wins — because therapy isn’t just about the hard stuff. Together, we can explore it all.

Therapy with me is a no bullshit space to explore your experiences. I work with you - I’m not here to tell you how to feel or what to do.

Am I the right therapist for you?

As a therapist, I’m also invested in my own personal growth because I know how valuable it is to sit with someone and take the time to explore thoughts and feelings that I haven’t had the opportunity to speak out loud before. Therapy can be overwhelming, uncomfortable, disappointing, and frustrating. I would never ask my clients to do something that I’ve not done myself and I know that it’s worth it.
